Welcome to the Golden Egg Farm where ducks, chickens and goslings roam. Pottery is produced and poultry is
reproduced.

Golden
Egg poultry is exhibition-style standard size waterfowl and standard and bantam
size chickens of award-winning parents. Most
of our birds are rare and or, endangered domestic breeds.
I use terra cotta clay to
produce functional ware, sculpture and ceramic tiles. Slip is used for
decoration with a clear glaze. Themes include poultry and
nature. I make award tiles for upcoming poultry
shows in New England and tiles for kitchen and fireplace surrounds. All tiles
can be personalized with lettering and dates. I also make hand-thrown red-ware pie plates with personalized inscriptions and dates for weddings and
other special occasions.
The kitchen is decorated with many original
tiles and can be viewed for your own planning ideas. I also sell pie
plates made to your order for special occasions. Wedding and town pie
plates are popular.

Hours
are by appointment only.
Hatching eggs
are available in the Spring. Chicks and ducklings are sometimes available for sale in the
Spring, depending on Mother Nature!
Adult pairs are sold in the Fall.
Standard duck parents include: Aylesbury, Indian Runner in
White and Black and White Crested Ducks.
Bantam Chickens include: Silkies in Black, White,
Blue or Blue Splash and Standard Cochins.
