Reidt GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1899 in Stolberg, Germany, near the German border with Belgium and the Netherlands. For a multitude of different applications we produce consumable materials made of glass in form of glass powder and glass granules.

Our company began as a supplier of raw materials and a service provider for the more significant local glass industry. Throughout the last decades we have specialised more and more in the grinding and processing of glass both for the German and the international markets in Europe and overseas.

Today we supply our products to clients of different branches all over the world. Thanks to our company's centrality in Europe we can provide fast and efficient logistics.

The basis for our numerous products comes from the raw material glass in different chemical compositions with their correspondent physical characteristics. It emanates from technical processes during which glass is generated or manipulated. These process chains are protected by our company on the long run.

The product range varies from glass powder with a grain size
of a couple of micrometers to glass granules of several centimetres. In a special grinding process the glass materials are carefully crushed allowing a mostly cubic shape of the particles.
The grading technique used in the process guarantees an effective separation of grains defining both a lower and an upper limit. Thanks to highly flexible production lines, specific solutions for our clients do not pose any problem at all.

Variable packing solutions ranging from paper sacks and big bags to silo loads are characteristic for our high customer orientation.
Glass powder is being used for the most different manufacturing processes in numerous industrial branches.

In ceramics, the refractory industry as well as the brick and building material industry glass powder is applied as sintering additive (study), filler material or optical component.
