Used as raw material to produce ferrite, drying agent in coating and varnish, catalyst in the manufacture of amylalcohol, feed additive and trace-element fertilizer. Also used in pharmaceutical, smelting, soldering, disoxidation printing and dying in textile, grease bleaching, also used in ceramic and manufacture of dry battery.

Grass green or celadon crystal or powder.Specific gravity 5.43-5.46,melting point 1650°C,subliming at 3400°C. Insoluble in water,soluble in acid and ammonium chloride solution.
