The Surface Engineering Coating Association (SECA) is a nonprofit association of companies located in the U.S and Canada which apply various coatings using Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and/ or Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to cutting, forming and molding tools, precision components and decorative applications.

One of the most important functions of SECA is to provide information and educate current and potential users of the members' technology and services. This section includes information on Member products and services and properties and applications of PVD and CVD coatings.

SECA offers two classifications of membership: A Full Member provides PVD and or CVD coating services within North America while an Associate Member is any company or individual that provides a wide range of services to the PVD/CVD coating industry.
