Van Mannekus & Co. B.V. is a leading processor and trader of magnesium compounds for practically all applications where Magnesite is utilized. The company produces and commercializes a great variety of Magnesium Oxide products: Caustic Calcined & Deadburned Magnesite as well as Magnesium Carbonate, Magnesium Hydroxide and Magnesium Chloride.
The premises of the company cover 25.000 m2 and are located in the port of Rotterdam providing excellent logistic services to destinations around the world.
In the ceramic industry, magnesium oxide is used for various applications, such as thermal insulation in power switches, frit production and for the stabilisation and grain growth control in the sintering process.
Magnesite and abrasive powders are natural raw materials, which are found back in a large number of endproducts. Their usability and their introduction in industrial applications depends on a number of factors, such as purity, density, grinding fineness, activeness, etc.
Van Mannekus & Co. BV processes these raw materials according to the requirements of our customers, and prepares them for their later utilisation. Specialised breaking and milling equipment is used to produce high-quality materials, up to a fineness of 45 micron.
Permanent quality assurance procedures, both in the selection of raw materials and during production, guarantee the highest quality in our endproducts. Van Mannekus & Co. BV has its own in-house laboratory, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, where all quality checks and analyses are carried out, with regard to the physical properties of our products.
