Ceramic Gas Products produces a widely diverse range of products, from Refractory Ceramic ultra lightweight loosefill and concrete, to small ceramic electrical components, gas fire radiants and imitation fuels, in both Ceramic fibre and Ultralite Ceramic concrete.
The newest addition to the range is ULTRALITE, the lightest ceramic based high temperature insulation material on the market. Ultralite has a bulk packing density of less than 80kgs per cubic metre, is free flowing into difficult areas and is unbelievably easy to use. Its form is a small lightweight granule typically 3mm in diameter and up to 15mm long. Its has pores as fine as 5 micron in size so even crushed and graded material, used to make cast refractory items, is still lightweight.It is manufactured in a way that is truly unique in the ceramic world, and is calcined to temperatures as high as 1150oC.It is unaffected by thermal shock and does not degrade.In most applications it can be used in temperatures up to 1300oC quite comfortably and will provide very good energy savings, typically with an investment return of less than 12 months.
