INMATEC Technologies GmbH is specialized in development and production of feedstock for ceramic injection molding. CIM feedstock can be processed with injection molding machines widely used in plastics industry. This technique of industrial design allows a mass production of ceramic parts with complex geometries without post-processing.

Up to now production methods in ceramics confined themselves to simple geometries with large quantities since post-processing costs are quite high. For plastics injection molding industries as well as for ceramic enterprises new application fields in ceramics are opened up.

Furthermore INMATEC offers everything starting from a consulting service regarding mold design up to the engineering for a complete production line for ceramic injection molding.Among others customers are companies belonging to automotive, household or electronics industries.

Examples for the application of this new technique are i.e. optical fiber connection plugs (?ferrules?), insulators, the lambda probe or pepper-mill masticators.
