Chough Studio Pottery Shop offers top quality low price vintage studio pottery, contemporary modern pottery & porcelain. British Pottery, Cornish Pottery, Irish Pottery, Welsh Pottery, Scottish Pottery to customers throughout the UK. It's not a bricks & mortar store , but a lovely web based shop in Redruth Cornwall.
My name is Ernie. I have been interested in pottery for some years now. I have also contributed to Miller's Antiques & Collectables, many photographs of my pottery and detailed knowledge on the subject have been submitted in Miller's Collectables Price Guide books, Im also a member.
My favourite pottery is the Crowan Studio, once owned by Harry & May Davis at Praze-an-Beeble near Camborne in Cornwall, sadly the studio closed in 1962.
With good experience in British pottery & ceramics I have decided to open my own web store dedicated to studio pottery, general pottery & ceramics. We have also just recently moved into the glassware market. Our goal is to list some well known and less known potteries & glass makers from all over the UK.
