Millstone Pottery
Paul de Jongh and Nina Shand welcome you to their pottery studio in Bree Street, McGregor, a quaint village on 'the road to nowhere'. Visitors to the studio are treated to a visual feast of work including:
- high temperature, wood-fired stoneware - wood-fired terracotta - electric-fired domestic ware - sculptural and decorative raku pieces
Paul and Nina like engaging in all the pottery mediums and on each visit you can expect to find new work, new effects and lots of new ideas!
They are happy to demonstrate their craft and their working pottery is open to view. Wood-firing workshops are given, using the two wood-fired kilns, to people wanting to experience this ancient and time-honoured process.
There is a hand-made creation for every taste and pocket and whether you're interested in buying or just curious, a trip to McGregor is incomplete without a visit to Millstone Pottery.
