An antique pottery Company specializing mainly in European Pottery produced from 1898 to the early 1940's. Czechoslovakian pottery including the countries most renown producer Ditmar Urbach.
The Ditmar Urbach products we carry are from the Tepletz factory that specialized in decorative ceramics for the home for use and display. Also Mrazek Peasant Art Pottery produced in Letovice from 1921-1933. (we also carry the Mrazek items produced in New York City from 1919-1921 before production moved to Czechoslovakia).
We also deal in Gouda Pottery from Holland. All our items are pre-1940 from some of the 16 different companies like PZH, Regina, Ivora, Zenith, Arnheim, Geleria, EA, Amphora, Distel, Goedewaagen, Rembrandt, ESKAK, and Iris.
We carry both semi- matte and high glaze works. Japanese Gouda-style pottery, the Japanese 1930's copies of the Gouda pottery which has become quite collectible.
We also have an assortment of English Art Deco pottery, German Jugendstil potteries, Velsen, and other items. We have tried to stay in the confines of Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts, Modernism, and Bauhaus designs in the potteries we carry.
