Kristin Antonsen is a potter, born in Narvik. Now she is living and working in Mandal, in the southern part of Norway. Her workshop is at 'Kulturfabrikken', in the part of town called Nedre Malm.

In addition to her own artistic production, she teaches pottery at Agder University College. She is a member of The Norwegian Association of Arts and Crafts (NK).

Kristin Antonsen mainly works in high fired stoneware, using slab technique. The Birdcages are representative of her current work, bordering between the sculptural and the utilitarian.
