Bunzlau Ceramics has rightfully earned its worldwide recognition due to its striking colours, exceptional and captivating designs, and shapes, as well as its unique usability.

Pottery decorated with characteristic "peacock eye" patterns can be traced back to the early 19th century. The outstanding quality and characteristics of original Bunzlau Ceramics has been preserved and enhanced up to today.

This traditional technique is still in use today. Patterns are cut by each artist out of natural sea sponges, which have to be replaced frequently to ensure the high quality and durability of the pattern onto the pieces.

Our unique pieces are hand-crafted by distinguished decorative artists who have been further trained to design and decorate the elaborate and exceptional Unique Signature Series. The emphasis is put on extraordinary detail of pattern and the resulting time-consuming techniques.
