Paul has taught at Everywoman?s Village in Van Nuys, California. He established the ceramics program for Monart School of Art in Tarzana, California. He sat on the Board of Directors for the San Fernando Valley Arts Council, was vice President of Arts Alive in the San Fernando Valley to promote Art in Public Places and was selected by Los Angeles Mayor Riorden's office to be a featured Artist in the Millennium Celebration with the Cultural Affairs Department of Los Angeles. While teaching at Every Women's Village, Paul was known as "potter to the stars."
