Witgert is the oldest producer of clay of the most important clay producing area worldwide, the German Westerwald. Since 1820 we produce clays and the last decades ceramic ready made bodies, too. The preparation of clay is our most famous production for years. We deliver clays and bodies in different firing colours (white, red, brown, black, yellow, grey, leather coloured and much more) in different kind of supply (in bulk/shredded, powder/ground, flakes/roller milled, filter-press cakes, clots/plastic, slurry/liquid, granulate). Ready-made bodies are produced with or without chamotte/grog. We deliver our products to all producers of ceramics like wall and floor tiles, bricks and clinkers, roof tiles, sanitaryware, tableware, refractories, technical ceramics, abrasives, artistic ceramics and hobby need, but to none ceramic need, too. Our speciality is to devolped what the cutomer needs and not to sell what we have.
Witgert supplies to nearly all European countries, but to near and middle east and north Africa, too.
