TERRES EST-OUEST; The founder, Dauphine Scalbert, is a recognized expert in Korean and Japanese ceramics, with 20 years experience studying and working on traditional pottery in Europe, Korea, Japan and Latin America. In 1994 she came back to France and installed her studio in Burgundy. She guides students in throwing pots, handbuilding, preparing clays, using slips, making ash glazes and firing. Potters and students from more than twenty countries have come to Lain (specially from Korea, Japan and Latin America). Those ongoing exchanges enrich Dauphine Scalbert\'s approach to craftsmanship, making Terres Est-Ouest a privileged place for students.
