Opened in 2002, Lakeside Pottery is a professional ceramic studio and school located on Newfield Avenue in Stamford. It is home to beginner students as well as accomplished ceramic artists.

The studio is fully equipped with 10 pottery wheels, an area and equipment for sculpturing and handbuilding, a large selection of glazes and a kiln that is always running. The four teachers are experienced ceramic artists; their work is displayed for both inspiration and purchase.

Lakeside Pottery School offers morning (10am - 12:30pm) and evening (7pm - 9:30pm) adult classes for beginner to advanced students Monday through Saturday.

The 8-week childrens programs are for ages 7-12 and the weekly childrens summer camp is open to students ages 7-15. Private lessons, birthday parties, group and corporate team building workshops can be scheduled. Monitored open studio hours may be purchased for $15/hour by students and artists to work independently without instruction.

Lakeside Pottery also offers a Professional Development course for teachers and consulting services for schools, organizations and private studios helping them to set and maintain a professional pottery studio / school.
