Gul Erali Ceramic Studio
Gul Erali is a Turkish Ceramic artist. Erali makes stylised figurative sculpture. Her "Goddesses of the Earth" series is based on the female form. Some works also reference the vessel. Studied in Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and Linz Academy of Fine Arts as the student of Prof. Günther Praschak between 1976 and 1980.
She also trained in Kröninger Keramik / Germany underJörk van Manz. She also studied at Ceramic Department of the I.D.G.S.- (Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts) under Prof. Sadi Diren.
Gül Erali is a member of the Turkish Ceramic Association and International Plastic Arts Association Executive Committee.
Erali loves to share her artistic view and experience with her students and tries to give them the love of clay. The students are not only students, they are close friends of her, working, learning, sharing and having fun all together.
