The mission of the site is to provide a place where you can get beautiful ceramics created by the well-known designer Gordon Perry. His ceramics are meant to bring joy in the use or the ownership of the item. As an artist he creates the pieces that are shown here. They have been exhibited in a number of New York shows.

"As a medium, ceramics provides me an opportunity to create vessels, teapots and objects that embody a dynamic, visual tension that helps to express a more personal vision than my professional work would allow. I strive to create that tension through the use of line, plane and volume in such a way that the finished piece is an integrated three dimensional statement of what my inner life is saying. The goal I set for myself is that my personal vision encompasses communicating a sense of feeling; whether it's peace, frustration or intrigue. Evoking a response, for me, means I've achieved success in my work".

Gordon's design work is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. It also has been exhibited at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum; The Chicago Athenaeum, the Materials ConneXtion, the Living Design Center OZONE in Tokyo, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum and in an exposition about American Design created for the United States Information Agency that went to Russia, as well as in local exhibitions.
