My spheres are pebble-like pieces; the texture is so smooth, the form is sensuous and curvaceous. They are so round, so simple, yet so relaxing and comforting to the touch..

The colours are all strong, bright shades of burgundies and browns. The patterns also provide visual appeal with an array of slight variations on a theme seemingly uncontrollable by its creator and having a mind all their own.

All of my forms are very simple, elegant and very precise - a result of too many years working as a drafter in the field of civil engineering. I find myself more comfortable with linear shapes. However, the saggar firing adds the yin to this yang, the unpredictability of the firing balances my linear and precise streak.
