Sounds of Clay
Northern Michigan potter specializing in uniquely constructing one of a kind ceramic Djembe hand-drums and ceramic instruments and other musical oddities. All hand-drums have a glow in the dark tie-dyed goat skin drum head.
My studio is located in the middle of the Manistee national forest, in northern Michigan. I've been interested in ceramics for some years now. I've taken ceramics through junior and high school, at Goshen college, in Goshen Indiana, and ceramic classes at Westshore community college. I've been making Djembes and Doumbek hand-drums for over10 years now. A blend of my ceramic education and traditional African drum building, I've come up with a professional quality sounding djembe drum with the characteristics of fine pottery.
Offer includes:
- Ceramic Djembes - Clay Udu Drums - Clay Doumbeks - Djembe drum building supplies - Ceramic Flutes and Ocarinas - Ceramic Maracas and Shakers - Coffee House Mugs
