Wandering Fire Pottery & Tile Works
Hand Carved Art Tile and Vessels made in the Spirit and Philosophy of the Arts and Crafts Movement. All Work is made by Hand, with our focus on quality of craftsmanship. Now a Roycroft Renaissance Artisan Studio, we are located in the Historical Grand Trunk Railway Station in Stratford Ontario.
Inspiration and Aesthetic stems from the Art Nouveau Design, the English Arts and Crafts Movement and the Aesthetic Movement with such Mentors as William Morris, CFA Voysey, William DeMorgan and John Ruskin.
The tiles are all Original in Design and have both the Art Nouveau as well as the Arts & Crafts and Medieval influence: Any patterns that are adapted from Historical References are changed by our Design and methods to make the Tiles Unique: Designs have been adapted from Wallpapers, textiles, stained glass windows, posters and illustrations.
We offer our line of Tile that is considered Art & Gift Tile. The tiles are also purchased for Fireplaces, Kitchen and Bathroom backspashes and counter details, and as stair risers.
Custom Design is a welcome part of our Tile business. Custom colours, custom tile carving and field tile to complete the design is also available.
