I have been working with Ceramic for about 15 years, and had my studio done about 10 years ago. I am graduated in Art, and have always worked with art, have been Art History teacher at the University, and have worked with painting, drawing, sculpture and engraving.
I always felt I was more an object maker, which I developped in a constructive way. When I first was introduced to clay work, I was very excited with de thousands possibilities that Ceramic offers. Naturally, Ceramic became part of my daily life.Today I have a big studio, with four kilns, three electric and one gas kiln, which results I really love.
My costumers are decoration stores, not only in Sao Paulo where I live, but in the whole territory of Brazil, but I never had the chance of exporting my pottery. But I never intended to make a comercial Ceramic, and never will. My preference is the artistic ceramic, which is very thrilling. The sculpture I develop is not throgh the modelling process, but is also constructive, working with modules. I also like very much the wall artistic production, wall sculptures.
