A company which promotes ceramic as an art in all its appearances. HET LAATSTE HUIS is a Ceramic Study Center where we teach all kinds of ceramic technics as well as how to burn the several ovens (wood, salt, Raku, electric, gas..). Of course we use several glaze technics.

During the practical workshops the trainees do the work themselves, while the teacher gives the advise. We have members all over the world and together we organize ceramic projects, all kinds of thematic expositions and visits to ceramic artist (mostly in Europe.)

Very important is our magazine ROOK (by Lou Smedts) which appears once every three months. HET LAATSTE HUIS is a company of friends which share the passion of making pottery and everything that goes with it. The membership is only 25 Euro a year.
